Karen, a retired college administrator (Brenda Wehle, NYTW's Mary Jane), is pushed out of the home in which she raised her son Blake and has lived for decades. When she learns that the house has been turned into a Airbnb that hosts a variety of transient wanderers, she decides to join them. HOUSE OF KAREN is a play about the audacity, persistence, and futility of hope and about the refuge we take in an ever-changing daily life.
