BURNING LEAVES is set in Pittsville, a small town in Illinois. Matt Leland is a 32 year-old actor who has left New York after some traumatic experiences and is trying to start a new life for himself as a high school drama teacher. He's moved into the spare room in the home of Jane Potter, the guidance counselor at the school where he's teaching.
